Day 85....somewhere in there! Update!

Good morning all you beautiful perfect beings!

Well, I have finally settled back home after my month of travelling - attended a wedding, went to a pristine lake and hung out at in Saskatchewan. Eating well and exercising were not high on my list, so I went back to the cooked foods, little exercise and definitely felt the effects. When I returned to Calgary, I recommitted to eating more Raw foods, and had Fredric Paternaude's Low Fat DVD series waiting in my mailbox to get me moving along the road of eating raw.

I have been doing well, eating a high fruit diet with Breakfast being a Green Smoothie or just fruit, lunch may be a healthy cooked meal or more fruit/veggie and then Supper is always a fruit soup, and a meal salad (have yet to find a dressing that I can fall in love with). What I found helpful is the calorie-dense and higher sugar content of fruit to help satiate me throughout the day.

My dehydrator is on the order, so I will be including some dehydrated raw "breads" and other nut/seed creations to mix it up as well.

Here is a recipe for Fruit Soup -

2 bananas
1 bunch of grapes
1 Apple
1/2 pint of raspberries/blueberries
1/2 pint of strawberries
1 nectarine or 2 plums

Chop up and put in large bowl

Then blend the following to make the "broth" -

2 peaches (or other fruit)
the juice from 2 oranges
more liquid if needed - water, coconut water or another juice

Pour "Broth" over the chopped fruit, put in fridge for 15 minutes or more for the flavors to blend and intensify.

I eat a large bowl for supper each night.

Love you all,
Samantha
